“In the Clouds” is inspired by a return flight (into SeaTac) from an EncaustiCastle stay. Gradually lowering from 30,000 feet to sea level presents an ever changing view of water in its various forms: cloud vapor, iced and snow-covered mountaintops, vast ocean and narrow waterways.
